Graphics card drivers

So I got a new card a gigabyte 1060 and I'm having trouble I shall describe what has happened today regarding the card and installation.
Before putting in the card I used DDU to uninstall amd drivers then my pc shutdown, I then proceed to put the card in as normal all was good there but when I connected hdmi and went to my TV, I am met with a black screen and I cannot install new drivers because I cannot see the screen to do so. Any help I can get I will be very grateful for thank you

did you connect the 6+2pin connector to your 1060 video card from your power supply?

Yes the power pins were connected and the card itself is in properly sorry for the down vote BTW didn't mean to

reconnect your video cable to your on board video and see if you can boot in bios, and change the setting of the Graphic card from internal to auto or GPU. save and reboot.

and make sure your video card is properly seated in slot, pull it out and push it back in
