Graphics card enhancement.

Hello everyone, i was just looking for a little input on graphics cards. I currently have the Intel HD Graphics 2500 that came with my computer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227442

I was just wondering how much of an upgrade would http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202004 be.

I also read that it requires a minimum of 500w but my computer only has 300w. Again i'm not very sure what that is. I was just looking for some input on the subject.

That would be a HUGE improvement, but you would need to get a decent powersupply aswell.

That'll be a very substantial upgrade. If you do buy the graphics card you will need to upgrade your power supply unit (PSU); your current one is rated at 300watts whereas the new card requires some more wattage.

Make sure to get a decent power supply. Read the ratings from where ever you purchase it from. Bad power supplies can cause instability, crashes, sometimes hardware damage and general mayhem. Make sure to go with a good power supply.
