Graphics Card Equivalent to PS3?

Hey,

This may be a random/silly question but I will go ahead anyways.

I was wondering what PC GPU will give equivalent performance/quality as a ps3 or Xbox 360?

Also if anyone knows what will be the equivalent of the PS4 when it comes out that would be helpful as well.

the gpu in the new ps4 is just a tiny bit faster than a 7850, BUT they can get better gaming performance out of it since the code can be specifically optimised for it. What the end result is remains to be seen...

for the old consoles some mid tier card like several generations ago might be close...
iirc specs wise the closest match was nvidia 7900gto or some such and that is 5 or 6 gens ago depending how you count the rebrandings 😛
