Hi, i have a nvidia gt 730 gpu and the fans arent spinning, the temps usually i get is 70 to 80. and the fan is still not spinning, my gpu doesnt have a pcie cable or connector and the fan is just connected to something on the Gpu, i already tried some 3rd party apps and still doesnt work. can someone help me
He means dead.
Next time the PC is on, and you expect the fan to be turning, give the fan a 'gentle' nudge to help it spin, and see if it shows signs of life. Regardless, you want to remove the card, confirm the mini jumper is connected well, and manually feel the fan movement..it should be fairly free and seem like it wants to go. Make sure it is free of dust inside and out.
You guys are right, this fan is dead. When the system starts up, the fan should rotate. When it does not rotate, then it is dead or the video card has died, but if there is a video signal, then the fan has finished its game. As far as I know, this video adapter has no additional power supply.
