Graphics Card for 15 year-old?

Hello! What would be a great graphics card for a 15 year-old below $200 that will run Battlefield 3 & 4, Max Payne 3, & Skyrim on ultra @ 1360 x 768 at a good frame rate? Thanks!

You're probably looking at an HD7870 or GTX660.

A 7870/270x will keep you covered at that price point, also depends on how good your CPU is as it will be under more load at a lower resolution like that

You'd want an AMD card to be playing BF4 more comfortably

There's currently a 7870 XT (basically a 7950) for less than $200 on newegg, it tends to run quite warm though

The 7870 does average 55fps in BF4 Ultra at 1600x1200. Your resolution is smaller, so getting 60 should not be a problem.

And performance might get even better when Mantle comes out

why? nvidia cards perform just as well in there respective price point. A gtx660 or 7870 will run bf4 and any other games on ultra no probs at 1360x768.

Of course it'd have no problem running on ultra at that resolution since he also has that i7, but AMD would be the better choice if he one day has $150 or so for a better monitor

The 7870 XT beats out both of those cards in regards to price/performance too, even if it runs as hot as a GTX 200 series card

At higher resolutions AMD wins out for BF4
