Can you guys recommend a graphics card for a PC with a Lite On 250 watt power supply (only 14A on the +12V rail).
c2d 2.93ghz
3gb ram
1 DVD drive.

I play mostly older games (C&C Generals, Battlefront, Empire at War). May like to try COD 4, but do not need anything over 800 x 600.

Any recommendations? It has a Intel G33 (I think).

Solution
Yes it should work. Get pcwizard first and load it up then go to the voltage and temperature monitoring section and look what is the voltage on the 12v rail. If it is greater than 11.5~12v than you should have no issue.

The above card recommends a 400 watt power supply. You sure I would be safe running on a 250?
What about the 8600gt or the 9600gt (low power) cards?

No parental support here. I have 4 kids of my own! So, I am definitely on a budget (this is why I do not want to replace the power supply) and it is a brand new pc (dont want to lose warranty!

A dirt cheap 4350 will run after all my mom runs a 6600gt 512mb with a 250w and that is with a 65nm conroe that is overclocked from 1.6ghz to 2.4ghz with out dipping below 11.4v one the rail. All though the psu is well cooled and sturdy built for an oem.
By the way what model is that cpu?
