I bought myself a Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 2Gb from amazon for £310 3 months ago and I never looked back. Mine takes anything I throw at it on my 1920 x 1080 27" monitor, without breaking a sweat. Plus, it has three fans which keeps it nice and cool, (Don't think I've ever had it over 55 Degrees, and that's overclocked XD) and with the gigabyte OCing utility you can manually set what speed the fan should run at at what temperature.
