would a Gigabite geforce GTX 1050 ti 4gb GDDR5 128 bit fit in a dell inspiron 3847 and would it work?

Your system is a mini tower form factor design. If your motherboard has a PCI-Express x16 slot available you could fit the card no problem.

Just take in consideration the dimensions of the card you're trying to install and the required watts to operate, there are plenty of small form factor 1050 Tis out there, pick one that's small enough.

My computer has a pcie x16 slot but i cant seem to find the dimensions of the space in the computer. The card is 6.8 x 4.5 x 1.2
