Graphics Card For HP DC7800 Core 2 Duo

Hello,

I've got a HP DC7800 and am thinking about adding a graphics card in order to be able to do some gaming. Can this setup handle modern cards? The reason I ask is newer cards are listed as PCI express 2.0 or 2.1, are these newer than what my board was designed to connect to? I appreciate the response, I apologize as this is probably a very obvious question.

You have a PCIe 2.0 slot, however airflow in that case is really limited... careful what you get it will get hot!

btw. you can use either 2.0 or 2.1 cards in a 2.0 slot.
