i want to add a graphics card to my PC for around $100-$150, to play MOBA games, mainly league of legends (above or at least 60fps)

For those kinds of games at 1080p I think the RX 460 2gb can't be beat for low price, it uses low power, and it's generally more compatible with older systems than the new Nvidia cards. You have an i5, so you could benefit from more powerful videocards but you don't need them for those kinds of games.

Your 300w psu will limit you to a card that does not need an aux 6 pin pcie power connector.
Buy a GTX1050ti that is not highly overclocked like the FTW mentioned above.
The SC version is only slightly slower; do not be put off by the small size, cooling is adequate.
