Hi guys,
I'm pretty set on buying a Kaveri APU next year to replace my Sempron 145(unlocked to Athlon x2) processor.
As for graphics, at the moment I have a HD 5670 512mb DDR5 and I've pretty much narrowed down my upgrade choices to r7 260x or r9 270x. I prefer the r7 260x as the price is much better and it seems to get at least 30fps even in new games.
I will be playing at 1080p, one monitor - mostly some mobas like Dota2, Smite, Heroes of the Storm so the r7 will be more than enough for these, but I may consider getting Battlefield 4 next year and maybe trying some single player games for a change
I know there has been an AMD conference where they talked about a lot of things, do you guys have any idea what graphics cards will the new A10-7850k apu crossfire with? Would the r7 260x be a good buy to pair with kaveri in Battlefield 4?
Approx. prices in my country(Romania) with links:
R7 260x $165 (about the same as 7790 2GB)
R9 270x $255
Looking forward to hearing your opinions.
Thanks.
