Graphics card for my core2duo.

Hi,
I am looking for a graphics card for my core2duo e4600 2.4GHz and 2GB ram.
The chipset is a 945gc and it has a pci express x16 slot.
The power supply is 250W

Well I wouldn't say it's worth upgrading this PC, also depends on your budget, PSU and gaming preference.

Well Gingerbread, this is my second computer and I just want to use it as a secondary pc. I do need a gpu. Lemme know which is compatible with it. I think a gt710 or gt610 would be okay, but do let me know if you feel you have a better gpu.

GT 730 would be O.K. in my opinion.

If you aren't going to be gaming on it but want a 1080p output, just get a GT 610 1GB or GT 710 or a Radeon R5 310.

Whatever one you can find for the least money.

Assuming your monitor supports the display outputs (on whatever model you decide to get) then it'll do the job and they all use very little power.

You could go for an older, cheaper card. But the performance won't necessary be any better and it might even require a separate PCIe power connector (for example the 9600 GT).

I am getting a 2gb gt610 for about $45 and a 2gb gt710 for about $60
