Greetings,
I'm a novice and also an AMD enthusiast. Have just purchased the ASRock X370 Killer motherboard, and AMD RYZEN 5 1400 4-Core 3.2 GHz (3.4 GHz Turbo) Socket AM4 CPU; going for a mainly media / wee bit of, but capable, gaming PC.
Would anyone care to suggest a capable video card? Would like to keep the $ under $200
Thank you.

SR-71 Blackbird,

Thanks so much for the suggestion of those two cards.
It's a bit more than I was hoping to spend, but along the lines of your thinking, I'm going with GeForce GTX 1050
for $175. It may seem like "cheaping out" for a difference of only around $25 or so, but I'm "treating" myself to a SSD with the dollars I'm saving that and on other components. The Blu-ray drive/burner will have to wait. Maybe there will be a "deal" on Black Friday, or later in the season. Thanks again. "JR"

Well, that would be very sweet, all that RAM, but wow, quite a bit more than my budget can handle.
Ended up going with the 1050 with 4 GB. It's like about $110 less. Still, thank you for the reference;
it was fun lookin' at it on line and imagining how that thing would tear it up on my screen.
Thanks again, "JR"

Opps, with your latest recommendation I realize I was too brief / inaccurate in my description last time.
Sorry about that… Since I ended up getting the ASRock X370 Killer SLI/ac AM4 AMD Promontory X370 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD motherboard from Newegg, in the course of things I spoke with a Product Support
guy and he mentioned the EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SSC GAMING ACX 3.0, 04G-P4-6255-KR, 4GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) video card. The price was right, and I was happy to get 4 GB on the card, so I went with it.
Thanks again for your suggestions.
