Graphics card for Video editing with i7 4790k

Hi,

I recently brought i7 4790k. I'm looking for graphics card for content creation likes Video editing, Motion graphics...etc. I'm using Adobe suite which is Photoshop, Illustrator and After effects a lot. The graphics card not to be more expensive, but reasonable price.

Only Adobe CC and CS products can utilise GPU acceleration, and even then, their function is limited to certain tasks. A strong CPU will serve you better than a strong GPU when it comes to Adobe software.

Pretty much every GPU from the Nvidia GTX and Quadro series and the AMD HD, R and FirePro series is supported by Adobe.

Last time I checked, there wasnt much benefit going any higher than the 750 ti for CUDA work in the Adobe apps.

I'm with Rob Crezz; anything more than a 750 Ti will be a waste of money.

Yesterday I have seen some videos on YouTube. I think GTX 980 TI will do more in 4K video editing.

Adobe Premiere Pro can utilise both a CPU and GPU for video rendering, so a GTX 980 Ti would do considerably better than a GTX 750 Ti. Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects will see far less of an improvement as their GPU acceleration is limited.
