Hi everyone!

I want to know how to get a stable frame rate for Watch_Dogs, I currently have a GTX 650 Ti Boost, it was running the game almost "burning" itself just at medium settings, and for example when I move the camera quickly around, the frames drop to 20-30, and sometimes it reach a maximum 70 FPS and it keeps up and down like that, but I'd like to know if with that graphics card could I make something to make it stable maybe at 60 FPS!

Thank you beforehand.

PD. Maybe I could be wrong but the CPU sometimes (or always) takes the duty to process textures, but the graphics card too, could exist a tweak to make the CPU take that work from the GC? (I'm not english native, forgive for the redaction)

You could wait, but considering this is Ubisoft we are talking about, they usually don't fix things for a long period of time even with lots of complaints. Till this day Uplay still has the same sh*tty problem it had at launch with terrible connectivity to Ubi servers and their cloud sync never works, heck its even worse than EA Origin.

And no, the game does not butcher your graphics card. I have a R9 270 and can still run it with decent playable framerates at 38 fps at lowest and over 60 fps at times (overclocked). So no the game isn't a douchebag to gfx cards.

The real douchebag games are like Arma 3. No matter what you throw at it, barely playable at times and just drops your fps to like 9 especially on multiplayer.
Basically wait a month or so, definitely wait for Watch_Dogs to be optimised before picking a GPU directly for that game. Also you need to specify a budget, e.g. if i suggest an r9 280x is that too expensive for you?

So actually, the game is like a douchebag for graphics cards? Because for what I see you'll need a High performance GC to run stable...

Also my point it's not to get a new GC, I just want to know if there is some tweaks or ways to stuck the frames at least at 30, so it could be playable. Since they released the first patch, the game improved considerably.

I could save enough money, but I don't want to get a new GC, I just want some tips to make the frame rate stable.
