Hello, I am trying to find a video card for the X9DRL-IF-B to improve IP camera performance (encoding/decoding x265 streams). It is using onboard video (Matrox G200) right now which isn't great. I added some 4k cameras recently and its starting to choke.

I can't seem to find anything. The machine runs headless in the garage. Ideally the card we find has no external power connectors. The current PSU is a corsair 750. Budget is as little as possible to get the job done. I'm hoping to get a few more years out of this machine before I do a total replacement.

Here is the mobo diagram on page 11 https://www.supermicro.com/manuals/motherboard/C606_602/MNL-1298.pdf

Any ideas?

Actually - I just had a thought as I was making a for sale thread. I have a spare 10700k and 32gb (2 dimms) of DDR4 3200mhz sitting in a box.

I could probably get a Z490 board and a GT700 card that would vastly outperform anything I could buy for the supermicro machine, correct? The supermicro has dual X5-E2620v2 and 84gb of DDR3 ECC RAM, not sure on speed.

The feature that I really love about the supermicro boards is IPMI . It makes headless home server automation so much easier. But it does look like the 10700k is way better. I even have a spare NH-D15 for it
