Hello, recently I have started having an issue with my computer. I have had no issues prior to this with my GPU but while I am playing a game, my main monitor will lose signal (the one plugged into GPU) and the fans will start spinning max speed. When it does this I have to force restart my computer. I have tried cleaning out my GPU completely, monitored CPU temps while in game. I do not believe it is an overheating issue. Today for example my PC had been on for maybe 10 minutes, I was in game for 2 minutes and the PC stopped working. Fans were blowing cold air. I have checked my GPU drivers and they are up to date. Do I need to replace my GPU or is there another solution. Some of you may say the issue is with my PSU but my PSU is only a month old and I have had no other issues.

Specs:

Gigabyte B85M-D3H
Intel Core i5-4460
XFX 7770 1GB
8 GB Ram
Corsair 750 W

You said you monitored cpu temps, can you post what gpu temps you're getting? The error you're getting is probably kernel power event 41. You can check this by going to windows event logs and under critical.

Anyways you said this problem was recent, which means your last driver install probably went bad. Uninstall your current drivers and delete the graphics folder in the C: drive or wherever you installed it. Then download the latest ones from the website. (Do this regardless of whether your drivers are updated)

Try taking your gpu out of the pci slot and reseating it firmly. Then make sure all the wires are firmly connected

I have already tried reseating my gpu, but I don't think a bad driver install would be the issue. My last driver update was in December and the problem has only been occurring for the past week. There have been no changes to my system

Ah! It seems the issue may have been solved. When I ran the AMD auto detection it said drivers were up to date, but when I turned on my pc a few minutes ago a message popped up saying there were new drivers for the gpu. Not sure if they were just added, or if the auto detection is not working right. I'm going to install the drivers and see if I still have crashes.
