Question graphics card frequently dropping mhz

So I have an AMD Msi Radeon r7 370 gaming 2g gpu in my pc with an AMD Fx-4300 cpu and i opened the amd radeon settings program and i saw this: gpu mhz going up to 971mhz only to drop to 450mhz every second prettymuch, look at the yellow line:

what can i do with this??

Welcome to the forums my friend!

Is this under load or just whilst opening Radeon? If so, it will be normaly, the GPU clock speed will increase when it needs to.

What's the make and MODEL of your PSU ? Also, provide FULL PC specs.

this was during just sitting in the fortnite lobby, and while in game i get crazy fps drops every 5 seconds to like 5-15 from 60.

now my pc specs are:
cpu: amd fx4300
gpu: msi radeon r7 370 gaming 2g
psu: cooler master b600 , 600watt
mobo: asrock n68-gs4
ram: no idea just 2x4gb 1300-1500 mhz
cooler: from cooler master no idea which
storage: 1x 500gb hdd 1x 128gb ssd

originally built used for minecraft, then for fortnite and gta v but expierencing very bad fps drops at mostly fortnite
