Graphics Card going hot

Hello! I recently bought Asus GTX 760 DirectCU and a new PSU Seasonic S12II 520w with it. I made that upgrade mostly for Assassin's Creed Unity but now when i play the game it goes to 70-75 degrees and is quite noisy. Why is that? I did the best i could with the cables but is there anything else to consider?

The temperatures you are getting are normal, in fact they are below average for such a demanding game. As for the noise, if you have sensitive ears like me, you should have done the research prior to purchasing the card; graphics cards vary greatly in their cooling solutions - some of them are several times louder than yours, believe it or not, so you could do much worse. DirectCU is definitely a solid cooling solution, certainly not average or below average. For a hot graphics card it is usually not easy to find a silent *and at the same time effective* solution without going for large aftermarket coolers (which void your warranty) or purchasing graphics card with specific 3rd party coolers you *know* are silent under load (either by...

till 90 degrees.....everything is just usual and normal

as far as sound is concerned....it's the fan and the inductors
you can apply some petroleum jelly on the inductors on the gfx card if you are sure that they are wheening

I'm using the asus gpu tweak so the temp is correct.
