So this is my first time buying a Graphics Card and i can't find anywhere to tell me if the card i'm going to buy is compatible with my computer please help!
The Graphics Card i'm hoping to buy is a EVGA GeForce GTX770 SC Version with ACX Dual Fan
My computer specs are:
(Motherboard) - Gigabyte Z77-D3H
(Processor) - Intel i5-3470
(Power Supply) - gx 650w bronze
(RAM) - 8Gb
(Operating System) - Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Awesome to hear that! Just to make sure, will my power supply handle it and will it plug in to everything correctly?

Yes. Your PSU comes with two 6+2 PCI-E connectors.

Your card has two connectors in a corner. One has 8 pins, one has 6 pins. Connect one of the PSU 6+2 to the 8-pin on the card. Then take the other 6+2, move aside the 2 extra pins, connect the 6-pin that remains to the 6-pin on the card.

As for amperage, your PSU has 52A, exceeding the minimum 42A you should have for the GTX 770. In short, you'll be OK.

Wow thanks so much aevm! This website including yourself is very helpful! Will be sure to come back onto this website if i need any help in the future!
