So I just built my new cpu and everything works except when I try to play games. It says that it doesn't recognize a video card. So i did the run dxdiag and when I go to display it doesn't show my graphics card, it just says standard video card. I checked the compatibility of all my parts and they were compatible so now I'm stumped. Is my graphics card dead or defected or something else?

Is it fully seated? What GPU is it? Are the PCI-E cords plugged in? Are the latest drivers installed?

Yes
Gefore GTX 750 ti
I believe so
I treid to install the drivers for nvidia graphics cards but it says i need to install other drivers so no i dont have the drivers installed

I tried all of the solutions above and none worked 🙁
When I tried the clean uninstall method I got to the installing new drivers part and the nvidia driver installer said I had a bunch of drivers nor installed. When I saw this I decided to check my device manager and It turns out that its blank! So maybe that has to do with something?

What's your mobo and bios version?
