I put my graphics card (zotac gtx 670) into the PCIe slot because i wanted to see how well it'd run. it was previously in the PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and now its in the 2.0 x16 slot. when i turn my machine on i get this screen:

any ideas? i'm sure it'll probably work if i stick it back in the old slot, i just want to test it on the other slot.

Solution
No single GPU currently saturates a PCIe 2.0 x16 slot so performance wise you might see a 1% difference at most.

The most likely reason why it is not loading is it looks like the second PCIe slot is only running at x2, per your motherboards specs, which is not enough for a nVidia GPU (they need x8 at minimum).

I know, but i wanted to see just how much worse it'd be and whether it'd be worth picking up a second for SLI
