I have a R9 290x, it artifacts really bad and I expect it to stop working soon. Also when in multiple games, if I'm running around where there's hardly anything to load it's fine, but once things start loading my fps drops and my computer barely loads anything.
The rest of my build is I5-4690, 16gb DDR3 ram, 250gb SSD, 620 watt Rosewill PSU. I built this about 2.5 years ago.
I can't decide if I should just get a GTX 1070 and replace my R9 290x or if I should go ahead and upgrade to an I7, new mobo, 1070, and ddr4 ram. I'd reuse my SSD, case, and maybe the PSU. I also thought about a 1060 but I feel like I might as well get a 1070. What do yall think I should do?
