graphics card is not letting me displaying my screen

So ive looked through multiple thread and cant seem to find the answer?

ive have just built my first pc everthing was fine to i bought my graphic card (msi gtx 1070 gaming x 8gb) once i placed it in and started it up the screen is displaying not signal. if i take it out i can use that computer just fine.

Aside from listing the specs, did you actually plug in the monitor to the video card? Many people that are new to computer building just leave the video cable connected to the motherboard.
