Graphics card isn't showing up

I have recently purchased a Sapphire 270x Dual X, the problem I am having is it will not show up anywhere on my computer. It is properly installed into the slot, it has it's drivers installed, it has its two 6-pin power connecters in it, and I have had my BIOS set to both PCI and PEG (neither work). What am I doing wrong? My other graphics card works just fine by the way, and I am connecting to my Motherboards graphics through the new card, so it's definitely connected...

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78 LMT- S2P rev 5

Do you get no display at all? Or is it windows that isnt recognizing it? If you dont have a display, check to see if the fan is running on it. Could just be a bad card.

What do you mean by this? Where is the monitor connected when you have the card installed? You should be using the video output on the back of the card, not the motherboard.

Could be you received a bad card.

The monitor is connected via the new graphics card.

It's stuck on the motherboards graphics though, is there anymore info that could help? I just don't understand why it won't recognize that there a card there.

My monitor is connected to the card, however it's only recognizing the motherboard.

your motherboard.....doesn't support this card.......it's too high for it to handle
