Graphics card issues

I have bought a XFX R9 270 graphics card and i have a 600W power supply. I have connected it all correctly and everything works fine except when i try to get a display image on my screen nothing happens therefore i cannot install the driver and use the card however the fans are working in the card and it appears to be fine. Help please

1. Is cable plugged into card ?

2. Is correct option on Monitor menu selected fro DVI or whatever cable you used ?

yeah it is all connected and i hve tried hdmi and VGA

OK but if using a DVI cable, you need to select DVI

Make sure your Integrated Graphics are off if you have it. Boot plugged into the motherboard, go to BIOS, turn off iGPU, then you can plug back into the card, and boot.
