A few weeks ago I finally decided to replace my ancient gtx 660. I got an RX 580, popped it in, installed the drivers, all was well. The next day, I had no signal to my monitor. I tested other cables, didn't work. I couldn't fix it so I put my old card back in and everything worked as it used to. I took the RX 580 back to the store, and they found the same problem as me and gave me a replacement.
HOWEVER
same story with the replacement. It has been running fine all day until an hour ago when my pc randomly shut off, and what do you know, no monitor signal. I think its clear its an issue with my system at this point so I don't think returning it again is an option, and I'm back to the gtx 660. This is all a bit stressful and annoying for me so let me know if you have any ideas of what the issue could be.
