Graphics Card no longer Works

I bought a radeon 7950 from newegg it was msi oc boost edition and it worked great for two months for me. I sold it to my friend for two hundered and a nice new monitor and headset and I had originally bought it on sale for two hundered. anyway after one week of use for him he was playing borderlands 2 and his computer suddenly shutdown this has a i7 4770k another 7950 crossfired and a 1000 watt psu and a top of the line mobo msi z87 something or other. his computer boots with his saphire 7950 but not with the msi one and not together either. I plugged it into my computer and my computer won't boot with it either is there any way the card is not dead as I cannot RMA it. Visual or software inspections welcome. Is there a way the crossfire caused it and it burned out when he had the crossfire on a 750 watt psu

I've had cards die, which probably is the case with yours. Contact MSI support for warranty information. Had a MSI mobo about four years ago and they sent me a refurb when it shit the bed which worked without issue (except one usb port was dead).
