Graphics Card not Being Detected on Asus p5nt Deluxe Motherboard

My 7790 is not outputting display on the p5nt, but I tried a different card and it did work.

I then tried the 7790 on another system and it is functioning.

Any ideas?

P.S. I'm using the second pci-e x16 slot for all of this because
the first one doesn't seem to work.

you use the second pci-e slot and have video but what happens it you try to use the first slot with any gpu do you have signal on monitor .

No, nothing with the first slot.

But the second one is functioning with one of my other cards.

BTW its the HD 6570 a basic card

It's not defective except for maybe that one slot.

It has booted into windows and is fully functional.

Yes there is a defect, but I don't want to give up on the entire motherboard for one thing that can be worked around.

How is that relevant, your not fixing the problem that I'm not getting a signal.

and btw on that motherboard the first two slots are x16
