Hello.
I reinstalled windows on my pc a while back and reinstalled all my drivers and stuff and my computer was working normally. A few days ago when I turned on my pc my resolution got changed from my monitors max 1080p to 1600x1200 and I couldnt change. In device manager, my 760 had a yellow warning and my device status is "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" . I also realized my Nvdia control panel was longer there when I right clicked my desktop. I tried searching for it in the Nvdia Corp folder in C, didnt find it, and tried all the things I googled which included force restarting Nvdia processes from the task manager. I used GDU in safe mode and uninstalled my graphics driver and installed the latest for my 760 for windows 10 64 bit and it didnt fix anything. I also uninstalled the driver from the device manager under my 760. Even on dxdiag my display adapter is MS basic display driver. I cant even force my games to use my graphics card from going into the ''Graphics settings'' in search and selecting my game as the only options Im getting is MS basic render driver. If I search for Nvdia Control panel and launch it, nothing happens. I cant even use the pc and most things go out of my screen view due to the resolution change. Any help will be appreciated as Im really down after trying to fix it for so long from the internet. Thanks in advance.
