Hi, I just purchased a HP 8300 SFF. 8G RAM. I5. A Acer 144hz monitor. And a GeForce MSI 1050TI 4G Low Profile. I haven't been able to start the CPU on account that the monitor doesn't have the old VGA ports the old office Hp has. So I've been waiting for the graphics card to turn it on. I've had this same build b4 and when I installed everything and turned it on I'm getting no signal between the Dp and HDMI ports running to my monitors. The graphics card is on, the fans are running. But no signal. Is there something I need to do first before trying to use the graphics card port as my monitor's and if can't hook up the old CPUs port to my modern monitor? Is there a way to circumvent this?

You may have to use a VGA to HDMI converter like this https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-FOINNEX-Converter-Connecting-HDTV-Male/dp/B071SHJ1S3
And use the onboard graphics to go into the Bios and under computer setup disable the onboard graphics " from Page 29 of the manual
"Device Options
Integrated Video (enable/disable). Use this option to disable the integrated video controller

when another video controller is present in the system. Default is enabled."

edit: P.S. I have a 27" LG monitor 2019 model with VGA, HDMI, DP, and DVI.
