graphics card not on the motherboard

alright so what i want to do is a build a complete custom desk with the pc built in but im wondering is there a way to attach the graphics card to the motherboard without actually placing it on the motherboard/

Graphics cards connect to the PCI-E slots on the motherboard. There are no cable that can connect it in a different location. That is like trying to put a CPU in a computer without putting it in the motherboard?

Google some of the desks other people have made. They just make the compartment in the desk big enough for everything and add some awesome water cooling and LEDs with a plexiglass viewing window.

If I am guessing correctly he isnt trying to move the GPU a few inches or what would be the point of the whole thing.

no that was exactly it i can use that to move it more than a few inches
