Graphics card not outputting through displayport

Hello everyone.

I have a Gainward GTX 970 on Windows 10
it has a DVI, HDMI, and two mini-displayports
but when i try using the displayport, the monitor doesnt show anything, and it pops up as "monitor not detected" in screen settings in windows
Is something wrong with my graphicscard? or would reinstalling windows help?

Well does the monitor itself work? If it has multiple inputs have you tried cycling through to the DP one?

Yes, I have 144hz as my main monitor and two 60hz on each side. I use the DVI and HDMI ports on my graphics card, and for the last 60hz monitor, I use the DVI output from my motherboard which works fine. the problem is i cant combine them with NVidea surround and play games across all 3

Well yeh thats normal behaviour-nvidia surround NEEDS the monitors to be hooked up to the gpu. So unless you get an adaptor or hook up your monitor to the gpu it won't work/get picked up in the surround settings.
