Basically I have a MSI Gaming 980ti and its not meeting any of the gaming benchmarks I've seen everywhere.
Examples include Overwatch is at around 135 fps on ultra (benchmarks at about 280, even though its an i7 on the benchmark, half fps is too big a drop), GTA 5 has a pretty big drop, but forgot the numbers. BF1 has about a 60fps drop, and League of legends should be at 400+ but its at about 270fps.
Unigine benchmarks are upto standard though, and a few others too...
I understand that there are multiple factors that could cause this.
So here are mine that will effect it:
I have a i5 3570 - which is basically betweeen an i5 7400 and 7500, so there should be no or near to no bottlenecking at all
I have a dual monitor system (both at 1080p) (the other monitor is just running the game clients and afterburner un-overclocked just to check temps and other stuff). I turned off the other monitor and gained about 5fps on each game which is almost nothing.
I play in borderless windowed for half the games, but changing that had near no effect because the desktop resolution is the same as the game's.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
