Graphics Card Not Working

Recently, I got a GTX 650TI Boost graphics card from a friend and i've been having troubles trying to get it to actually work. I plugged the card into the motherboard just fine and you can tell that the card is powered on because the fan on the card is running fine. However, whenever I turn on the PC, the monitor doesn't think that it is plugged into anything. The computer turns on fine and you can hear the post beep. I've tried using all the ports on the card and even tried switching to a higher wattage PSU, but so far i've had the same issue, the monitor doesn't display anything because it doesn't think it's plugged into anything.
Does anyone on here think they know what the issue is? Any help is appreciated, Thanks

Did you plug in the video card power from the power supply? What brand and model of power supply did you try? Try updating the BIOS on the motherboard then try it again.

Did you see the card work before you used it?
