I have had my computer for a month or two now, just replaced the power supply because my computer would shut off after maybe 15 minutes of playing games. Now, after changing the power supply, the computer is running Windows Basic Display Adapter and not my ATI Radeon HD 4870. When I open Device manager and Display, the Graphics card is the only device listed. I cannot update any drivers, and my resolution is stuck at 1280 x 960. I know that it run my games perfectly a while ago and was able to run 1920 x 1280.

I also went ahead and checked to see if my brother's Radeon RX 460 would work and it will run at 1920 x 1280 and when I get into a game, the screen shows a green color and freezes.

What is preventing you from installing the proper graphics drivers? Also, could you please post system specs?
