graphics card not working

so here is the scenario my monitor short circuited I got it fixed by a local shop but when I connected my monitor to my vga adaptor it is not showing anything. I connected it to normal dvi port and it is working. please help !!!!!!

Probably when you shorted your VGA adapter shorted it/or is shorted. Try to buy new adapter, if it doesn't work then you probably damaged GPU's VGA or that adapter.

Your monitor has DVI? Use it there is no diffirence between VGA and DVI in quality, unless you are using for something else.

i play games dude that's why I bought the graphics card so icant connect to a dvi
