[SOLVED] Graphics card on but fans not working

I just finished my first pc build. Everything works fine. I start up the pc and start installing windows. Halfway through the process, my screen goes off and I later realize that my gpu fan goes off right before the display. The light on the graphics card is still on even after the display and fans go off. Tried with a different PCIE cable and it doesn’t work. My PSU is really old. It’s an LSP ultra 650w atx psu and I heard it’s not really reliable. So i was wandering if this could be a PSU issue or the card. Don’t want to buy a new one when this one might still be functioning.

System specs-
-Gigabyte b450m ds3h v2 motherboard
  • Ryzen 5 1600 processor with the stock wraith cooler
  • MSI GTX 970 4gb graphics card
-Seagate barracuda 510 storage
-XPG GAMMIX D20 16gb ram(8gb*2)
-lsp ultra 650w atx psu

Solution
PSU is really old. It’s an LSP ultra 650w
could very well be that the power supply cannot provide adequate power or a stable flow of it.
it’s not really reliable
whether it is the cause of this particular issue or not this model needs to be replaced.
you are risking each and every connected device by continuing to use it.
the fact that it is a low quality model is one thing but even higher tiered models can and do fail with age with regular use and/or stressing.
