I have had a pc for over a year and decided to get another monitor. The new monitor arrived yesterday and I just realized that the graphics card only has one port and its VGA. Would a VGA splitter work or should I return the monitor and only have one. Thank you for your help!

No, a VGA splitter won't work.

If it's intel you can use the video on the motherboard as a second connection. (Provided you don't have a KF which doesn't have integrated video)

It's quite surprising your video card only has VGA. How old is it? DVI has been around for close to 20 years now?

Are you sure you didn't buy a mining card with an after market DVI slapped on as the only connection?
