HI
Ive got a DTX980ti with internal hdmi (and 2 external dvis and nothing else).
My new Benq ex3501r doesnt support dvi.
So i bought an adapter from amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07D6RL3VN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )
The text and picture at native resolution 3440x1440 is a bit grainy.

If i switch to HDMI might the graininess go away? And, then any advice on how to expose the internal hdmi port to the outside world - i'd rather not have a VR frontpanel

Have searched online for "hdmi back panel" and after about 20 pages i gave up.

Trying to pick out the info from your post.

What do you mean by "internal HDMI" with the graphics card? Graphics cards have their outputs on the back unless I'm missing something. Post a picture of your outputs so we can see what you're referring to, and perhaps also mention the precise model of your graphics card. The simplest thing would be to connect an HDMI cable between the graphics card and monitor.

As it is it sounds like a dual slot card and the lower part is deliberately covered with the case's expansion card backplates.
