Hello and good evening to all you fine gentlemen, so here's my issues, everything was running like clock work in my PC until yesterday when i decided to clean the dust by blowing it with a blower, I bear in mind that it shouldn't be so close to the opened case nor that any fans should spin while blowing, after this I reconnected the PC but noticed a heat elevation very visible and clear in my graphics card for no apparent reason, what could've caused this? I tried to listen to some folks saying changed the thermal paste and I opened the card and did clean the old paste spread like hell over the processor, and applied new one only to the processor and some on the other side of the heat sink, but nothing changed still overheating, it use to score without games: 38c or 40c tops, now it's 69 c or 70 c, and my CPU is overheating because of it as well, I know this because i tried to remove the card and run case on built in gpu and all good, no heating, could it have overclocked on it's on??? I noticed that in the system information it says: "Graphics cloak: 1240mhz but in the CPUID monitor it says: 1329mhz, also i have a network card installed right underneath it in the case could it be blocking the hot air coming out of the fan?? but it use to be like this for like 2 years and all was good, can anyone please shed some light on this? i'm trying to upgrade the GPU driver and see if anything changes, my system is:
CPU: Core i5 4460
RAM: 12 GB1333 Corsair Vengeance LP
Motherboard: Asus b85-E
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 960 4gb g1 gaming
Update: Nothing changed GPU remains at high temp during and after gaming remians 69c or 70c 🙁
