HI All

Im having a sudden issue while gaming. My screen is flickering and my game crashes The Division 2. The FPS drops to Zero and the screen either freezes or the game crashes and back to the desktop. Not Often but today was the worst. I Cant get the temperatures down they are 80-85 Celcius and the settings are not on Ultra only High.I do have an H115I which is in front and two top fans and a rear. My H115I is set to Push and And i Pull The air from the rear and top So im not sure if its airflow. My CPU is fine it doesnt overheat.

What about Vertically Mounting? Are temperatures alot different?I have thought of reinstalling the AMD drivers which i have a 27000x
any help would be great thank you

So the cool air from the back fan is being sucked out of the top and never reaches the GPU. The warm air from the rad is then used by the GPU to cool itself, so it'll be maybe 20C hotter than normal. You need to move the rad to the top.

In at the front, out at the top and back so you have flow throughout as much of case as possible.

yes basically the cool air from the back is being sucked out through the top.im not sure if my radiator will fit at the top i have the Corsair Spec 06 Case and the radiator is 280mm.So i have two 120mm fans at the top plus the 1 at the rear and the two 140mm fans on my radiator.what if i turn the top two fans to blow cool air and just use the rear fan to pull the air.but its alot of air coming out through at 120mm fan.

yes. in at the front out at the back/top.

If you have the rad at the top the CPU will get slightly warmer air and be slightly warmer, if you have the rad at the front the GPU will get a lot warmer air.

Also the rad at the front will push less air in than 2 fans of the same size as the rad will slow the air down, so you're giving it less air that warmer.

i currently do have MSI Afterburner but i only use it for gaming.does it work well? That makes alot of sense because the air is filtering through the radiator so the airpressure isnt to its full potential. So should i keep everything the same just move the radiator to the top?i just took the tempered glass out of my case and the temp is at 57 i wonder why

Lol I’ve never herd of it dying. I just built my pc about 3 months ago so everything is new. @drivinfast247 that was my current configuration and it was so hot. @13thmonkey the temperature did go down to 57-65 without the glass so there was a lot of air. My Gpu fans were spinning at 3000rpm 100% and the temperature never came down originally so it was 80-85.

What I did is I never moved the radiator to the top i just turned the rear fan around but it hasn’t worked at all the temperatures are still high. This is with the case closed. It’s pretty annoying. I even took my Gpu out and air cleaned it Incase there was dust

@13thmonkey i totally agree with you. I have the phanteks p400s case aswell which I could use it might be better what do you think?Your right the radiator is preventing it. I took a piece of small paper and I tested the air and there’s literally nothing coming out of the radiator fans so I do need more air. The problem is with no glass,a lot of dust will get in. Do you think the filters are a problem?because in the front there’s like a grill which collects dust and same as the top which are removable they like filters basically. Maybe that’s causing the problems too.

@drivin fast. Well the top two 120mm are exhaust aswell as the rear the only air coming into the case is from the radiator but there’s not enough that’s the problem. By making just the rear the exhaust would it work?so I’ll have two 120’s and two 140’s blowing air. Another problem is my fans are only running at 600-800rpm is that normal?thats on a default setting.

In my bios setting under fan configuration I’ve set them all to auto and motherboard. Before they were on dc mode and some other I can’t remember
