graphics card possibly fault on arrival

bough a gtx giggabyte 1080 from ebuyer been having crashes since i possibly need some help with this
got a asus aura 970 board corsair pro vengance ram and a fx 8350 cpu with a 850i platinum corsair psu
tried updating the bios and the gpu drivers also tried swapping 8 pin connectors and swapping pcie slots but its still causing constant crashes im running windows 7

Power supply should be OK to run the card, since you got the card used most likely thing is that it's a bad card.

What card were you using before?

To be honest, that card is overkill for your system anyway, but that shouldnt be the cause of the crashing, would just be bottlenecked by your CPU.
