Hello guys i want to buy a Gigabyte GeForce GTX960 4GB Gaming (GV-N960G1 GAMING-4GD).

I have a Approx 500W Power Supply.

The graphics card requires Recommended system power supply requirement: 400W(with one 6-pin & one 8-pin external power connectors)

But my psu dont have 6-pin and 8-pin connectors. I found 2 adaptors for that but i want to ask if this is possible.

The adaptors are a VoltStorm 4-Pin Molex to 6-Pin PCI Express Adapter and a 4 Pin Molex to 8 Pin ATX EPS12V Motherboard Power Supply Adapter Converter Cable.

Solution
You should be fine with a 500w, you meet that requirement.

Honestly my friend's pc runs just fine with molex to 6/8 pin adapters, so I dont see why not. Though I have heard that the 8 pins can sometimes draw too much power and melt. I dont know this for sure. If you do get 5he adapters, just to be safe, dont buy cheap, porrly made ones from china.

Good luck
