Hello guys,

Its been more than a year since the absurd prices of gpus.
This is unbearable for me because in my country I was expecting to get a GTX 1070 for $420.
Although it costs over 700-800 here.I built my PC and have been sitting with it for 1 year without any GPU. I just want to ask all of you, is the prices gonna drop and when? I really want to buy a GPU now I'm really tired.

Specs:
Ryzen 1600
AX370 Aorus Gaming K5
Trident Z RGB 16 GB
1 TB HDD
650 Watt PSU

Solution
Buy an inexpensive used gpu to tide you over.
No sense in letting a system sit idle.
When you can buy the gpu of your choice, sell the interim gpu.

Prices will not drop so long as there is a demand. Basic economics.

There is a rumor that nvidia will release two graphics lines, one for mining, and one for gaming.
No one can give you an answer to this question. GPU prices did drop some in October/November and then shot up again when bitcoin skyrocketed in December. So your best option is to follow the crypto currency market. Right now mining profits are way down and crypto has had a tough month. If the trend continues, then we should start to see prices drop some, but we are still a ways away from MSRP.
