Graphics Card Problem with ping

Soo, Since i changed my graphics card, my ping from 40-45 went 70-80, it HAS to do with the graphics card, and the port back.

Do you mean a actual ping command or the silly number games call ping. A actual ping command is not affected by the GPU. The ones in games are affected by many things which is why they are not really valid to test network connections.

Your ping shouldn't have anything to do with your GPU. The only way I can think they would relate is that your PSU (power supply unit) isn't powerful enough and thus taking power from your NIC (Network Interface Card) to support the GPU.

Please let us know more about the machine you're working with. Things like:
CPU:
GPU:
PSU:
Motherboard:
RAM:
NIC:


P.S. It's also not a good idea to take a contentious attitude with people who are only trying to help you!

And what does nic means?

Edit: There is always the possibility that whilst you were changing your graphics card you could have knocked or even touched the NIC which could have caused minor damage causing it not too function properly. Unlikely but possible.

Btw i did changed my psu and i ever underclocked my cpu but no it didnt worked ;/ so the last thing that could fix my ping is nic

I wouldn't change it just yet,

When did you change your graphics card? How many times has your ping been sitting at a level higher than it previously used to be? If only once or twice it could be down to a high amount of traffic going to the server and have nothing to do with your PC.

No before i change my graphics card it was just fine 45 ping stable, and when i changed just went 78 ( i changed my graphics card on 12 june)

Check for any chipset or NIC driver updates. That could help.

Where are you getting your ping from? Is it a ping through Command Prompt? A game?
