Graphics card problem

Yesterday a friend gave to me an R7 265 graphics card. I downloaded tha newest drivers and all these things.The graphics card works fine in internet , youtube and some other programs , exept gaming.Games like fortnite, older CoD , Ac black flag crush when its time to load the graphics. They boot to their menu and I can change settings and select missions and all these stuff but when i hit play and the character appears the game crashes. I also found in Hwinfo that the name of the graphics card is R7 265 but the chipset is R7 265\ HD 7850 . I am not very experianced but i think its a scam and the real card is 7850 but programmed to seen as r7 265 (if this is possible) .Also the gpu clock speed and the memory clock speed match better with the 7850 than the r7 265.

Faulty card? Too small or too old, or too cheap of a PSU? List the specs of your system. Including the exact make/model of the gfx card. If you don't know, see if GPU-Z can ID it.
