Graphics card problems please help

I have a gtx 8800 currently and its been acting up lately such as, when im playing a game it will freeze and the screen will flicker "it will go black for about 0.2 seconds then go back to normal but frozen and it will do this for about 2 minutes i will either get blue screened or it will say graphics has stopped working < something like that, is it time to get a new graphics card ? or is there a solution for this, a few graphics card choices would be appreciated as-well if there isn't a fix for this.


Graphics card - (gtx 8800)
Motherboard - (Asus p5q-e)
Cpu - (intel quad cpu q6600 2.4ghz)
Ram - 4gb kingston
Powersupply - corsair 700 watts

Hi , try to reinstall ur driver and try ur gpu on another mobo , if u stuck in the same probleme u will better go for a new one , give me ur budget for the new gpu
