Graphics card problems

I recently upgraded my Asus Geforce 210 gfx card to the Radeon Hd 7870 2gb Ghz edition and it worked with my tv at the start then I deleted the old graphics card files and Installed software and restarted my pc. When this happens my Radeon 7870 wouldn't detect the tv as a tv and its locked to 640 x 480 pixels and in the display it doesn't come up as my 32" tv it shows it as being Generic PnP monitor on standard VGA graphics adapter and I dont understand why because its not even using VGA but the resolution of it is annoying me any ideas what I can do?

reinstall drivers for your 7870 but before you do that use ddu to make a clean uninstall of your previous drivers.
