Graphics Card Problems

I have an Alienware M17xR3 laptop and the AMD Radeon HD 6900M Series graphics card has sudennly stoped working. At the time I was watching a YouTube Video when the screen flashed and went blank. I turned my laptop on and off again, and I got a white screen. I've tried to install the latest AMD driver, but when i do the required reboot, after it passes the logon screen i get a black screen with a flashing dash in the top left corner. I've tried installing older versions and I either get a blank screen or a white screen. I don't know if this is a hardware or a software issue. I've also had the laptop since late 2011.

It can be both. Im not sure, but you can always try to install windows again. And see what happens.

I've Reinstalled windows multiple times and i still have the same problem
